Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (10 in 11 vols.). II. Promptbooks (2). III. Dialogue parts (1). IV. Chorus texts (1). A collection of materials for Lacome's comic opera "Jeanne, Jeannette, et Jeanneton" and its Americanized version "The marquis" or "Mae, Marie, and Marion." Most of the vocal scores are for the French version (Paris: Enoch, 1876?), one copy of which is annotated as a stage manager's guide containing handwritten superlinear English translation. There is also a German edition (adaptation by Reiss and Tetzlaff) pub. in Braunschweig by H. Litloff (1876?). All dialogue materials are in English and include a typed dialogue part for L'Exempt, a typed chorus text for the Tenors, and two promptbooks: one is manuscript; the other, for "The Marquis," is typescript and incomplete (Act II only).
